 The Common Cerulean (Jamides celeno) is a small butterfly found in India. this butterfly like other tropical butterflies exhibits seasonal polyphenism with difference in appearance between adults according to the season.
Upper side of the male is bluish white while the under side is greyish brown. The forewing has seven transverse white bands.
