THE PLAY ACT BY THE TEAM – DON'T KILL

Nandu: Hello! friends  I am Nandu, I here to introduce you to my friends who have suffered and are suffering because of you.You use animals for your selfish motives. You torture animals for taming them. You kill animals for your pleasure. You are snatching away our homes in the name of progress. Hence many of my friends and I are getting endangered. Meet my friend “the tiger”.

Tiger: Hello! I am the national animal of India, but people kill me for my skin, teeth, nail and bones. Ah! Here comes Rhino.

Rhino: Hey Nandu, Are speaking to the humans? May I ?

Nand: Sure!

Rhino: Dear humans, We on the verge of extinction because you people kill us for our skin and horns. Please stop this .Don’t you think we have the right to live.
 
Sparrow and Cheetah: We too ask the same from the you humans!!

All the animals together: “STOPPING KILLING”

Hear out humble prayer,
O God, for our friends the animals,
especially for animals who are suffering;
for any who are hunted or lost or deserted or frightened or hungry;
for all that must be put to sleep.
We entreat for them all Thy mercy and pity,
and for those who deal with them we ask a heart of compassion and gentle hands and kindly words.
Make us be true friends to animals and so to share the blessing of the merciful.
