King Parnavaz
“I say the truth, but even what I say will sound
as a tale, said Ovid. It’s difficult make out the
legend from the true story, especially when they,
during the flow of the time, get so mixed up with
each other. Whether it was true that king Parnavaz
really found the treasure, or maybe it’s the fruit
of people’s fantasy? Nobody eon say for sure,
but what really happened the history has
preserved in the following way.”
Little Parnavaz, persecuted from the new
government regime, grew up in Caucasus
Mountains. But soon he went back to Mtskheta
and neared himself to the strong opponent of its
government.. One day, during the hunt wounded a
deer and chased it to the verge of a big mountain.
The tired man and the animal spent the night
together.

Next morning it was a heavy rain, so to get a hiding place, the young king tried a cave.
There he found a lot of silver and gold. During five days with the help of his mother and
sisters he was getting the treasure to his home. With the help of king of Egrisi, Kuji, he
made a good use of this riches and eventually was able to his enemies from his land,
Thus becoming the first in establishing the Parnavaz dynasty."
