Judo
Olympic sport
since 1964
Judo is tied with one other sport, volleyball being the 4th newest sport added into the summer Olympics at Tokyo. Judo is part of another martial arts sport jujitsu which is not part of the Olympics. Jujitsu is a hand to hand combat sport while judo is almost the same thing with a little bit different rules. Some rules are you are allowed to submission your opponent by choking them or breaking there arm. The game was created in the 1880’s by a man of the name Dr. Jigoro Kano. The reason for this was because they could add one sport and they chose judo.
