About Our Site
Swifter, Higher, Stronger was first started when our Multimedia teacher Mrs. Holmes discovered Thinkquest and decided to participate in the website competition. She was amazed at how thinkquest brought students from around the world together and wanted our school to be a part of it. As our team, Conor, David, Taylor learned more about the Olympics we became more and more focused and intrigued. All three of us were veterans to Microsoft Office programs, but we were very new to the Adobe programs that we used to create this site. We were able to collaborate very easily, because we only sat three seats away from each other, and all three of us worked extremely hard to make our dream of an amazing site a reality. Each and every day we would go over our team calendar and make sure that if we were on schedule we could stay on schedule, or if we were behind, we could catch up. After several weeks of just barely meeting deadlines and severe crunch-time, we finally came up with our finished product. It is not the most technologically advanced website I’ve ever seen, but it is a very informative site. We thank you for visiting “Sifter, Higher, Stronger, the Olympics.
