History of the Epiphone
The Epiphone Guitars are a copy and lower class of the top brand guitars such as a Gibson SG or Les Paul Standard. It started out as a company that was Gibson’s main rival for years. They made Electric Guitars, Bass Guitars, Banjos and other string instruments. Then, after WWII the company was in very much debt. Gibson then bought them and put the guitars into the market in the late 1950’s.
