Energy audit of your school

A) Choose an energy team .you should have one teacher, one member from the administrative section and at least 5 to 10 of your school mates.

B) Find the sourcing of energy.

C) Determine the total energy consumed and the cost incurred by your school.

D) Save energy by turning off lights, fans and other electronic equipment when nobody is using it.

• Repair leaky faucets and toilets

• Convert to solar water heating.

• Replace high flow toilets with modern water-efficient toilets.

E) School initiatives plays an important role for encouraging the energy team.

Renewable sources of energy like solar, hydel , wind power should be promoted since they are light on our environment

Turn off the lights when not in use!
