Scylla is a sea monster that lives in the warm waters off Italy.  She is a female with six long necks, each with a head with long fangs.  She has wings and her lower body is that of a fish but with twelve feet, around her waist is a ring of dog heads.  Scylla can only make one sound: that of a yelping dog. She was once a beautiful nymph but now brings fear to all sailors.
