Mothman is a fairy recent mythical monster.  Its story begins in West Virginia in 1966, when five men, in a cemetery, saw something flying over their heads.  They described the creature as a brownish human being with wings.  The name is a combination of man and the moth wings that support it.  Another major feature is its red eyes.  Since November 1966 there have been many sightings of  Mothman in that region of America.
