A Manticore has a red body, just like a lions, the face and ears of a human and a tail that looks like a scorpion.  The tail also hides a killing sting as well as spines that can be shot like arrows.  The mouth of the Manticore is unusual because it has 3 rows of teeth.  It is very fast and very strong.  It looks very similar to the Egyptian Sphinx and challenges its prey with riddles before killing them.  The Manitcores voice is a mixture of pipes and trumpets.
