Frankenstein's Monster

Frankenstein's monster is literally a monster created by Doctor Frankenstein in a gothic novel by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley. The creator's name is commonly used to refer to his creation.  The Monster is made up of the parts of dead people and brought to life by a thunderbolt. Due to the manner of its creation the monster has many problems but in the end appears to be nothing more than a pathetic creature who deserves our sympathy.
