What is a Superstition?
You might wonder what a superstition even is. Well, that's understandable considering that our whole website has to do with superstitions and you don't even know what that is! The dictionary definition is "a belief or notion, not based on reason or knowledge, in or of the ominous significance of a particular thing, circumstance, occurrence, proceeding, or the like." Whoa. Wait, hold up now. That definition makes no sense to me, I don't know about you. In human terms, this simply states that a superstition is a belief people have about an object or occurence, that isn't based on any knowledgable explanation, like how a four-leaf clover brings good luck. There, now that makes sense to me. Now that you know what a superstition is, doesn't this whole website make more sense to you? I hope so.
