The Making of Our Short Film
The making of our film was long and extensive. We had to make the characters and the backround and set the entire thing up. One thing we had to do is create a "script" for the film (See rough draft of script below).
The making of David took about two days to make. We, first,
made the model of him, then tore him apart and put the armature in him,
and finally added details like his hair and tie. The alien that briefly
appears during the film only took about a day and wasn't really an
addition to the film until last minute.
The backround only took a couple of hours. It is just a piece of cardboard painted with navy and silver shiny paint.
The bottom part of the set is a clipboard with gray clay on it
to make it look like craters of the moon.
We spent half of our time in one day setting up our set, and the rest of the half "speed" taking pictures to get done in time (we still stayed a bit late).
