13. RUBBER BAND DESIGNHold the cloth from the centre and tie it with rubber band at distance of 1 inch to 2 inch. The portion to be kept white completely should be covered with thread then dipped in color. 14. SPLIT GRAM DESIGNMake any design on a piece of cloth and put gram dal over it with flat face top and tie it with threads and put knots at a close distance. 15. KNOT DESIGNHold the piece of cloth from one corner and start rolling inwardly and tie a knot at the centre. The left over portions on either sides are knotted or tied with thread 7 to 8 times . Then, dip the cloth in the color. 16. NINE ROUNDS DESIGNTake one square piece of cloth. Fold it from all the corners at the centre. Tie knots at many places with a distance of 1 to 2 inch. Then dip it in the color and after drying up we get round designs. 17. CLOVE DESIGNAfter making a design on a hankie, tie a clove in this design and dip it into a color. We can make this design in two colors. First, tie the cloves at a little distances and then color the cloth with any light color. At the second time tie the clove in centre of the first design and dip it in the dark color. 18. ZIG ZAG DESIGNMake a fan-fold of a cloth and set it in zigzag fashion. Stretch the same thread and tie knots. Dip in the color. After drying, we see zigzag design. |
