Interview with the Head Post Master-(seen
in the picture)
Our Project Lead coach took us all to the Head Post Office. We
were happy to see that the Head Post Master Mr. Anil was a parent member of our
school. His children are studying in our school. So that made our
interaction very friendly and informal. |

| Exhibition- organized by the Philatelic Club of Thrissur- Every year the club organizes exhibitions ,where participants from all over India proudly exhibit their collection. All of us went to see the exhibition ,though not together but with our family members. Apart from the philatelic items the other things on display were coins, currency notes, antiques and precious stones. The Philatelic Bureau had also set up their own stalls to popularize the hobby among people. We also met some great lovers of Philately, Philatelist of our area. Stamps were displayed neatly ,beautifully and thematically. Display on endangered species, butterflies, Penny Black- the world's first postage stamp Rowland Hill -the inventor of stamps (seen in the pictures) were among the best. We found some people buying everything that could fit into their budget. We bought some stamps and other philatelic items to add up to our collection. Some people had turned their hobby into business we were not impressed by that.
