Survey We took a survey of the number of children with Philatelic collection. We were amazed to see a lot of children with genuine interest in the field. We decided to form a club in our own school giving the same name as that of our project Club Philately. The pie-chart based on our findings is shown here. More than a hundred children have collection of stamp alone in our school. |

Class Exhibition This was a miniature exhibition, organized only for our class mates. Everyone with an interest was made to display their collection. This helped us to organize an exhibition later that month at our school level in a better way. Our class mate showing the world's first postage stamp-Penny Black worth U.S$3000(seen in the picture). The Penny Black, the world's first adhesive postage stamp of a public postal system, was issued by the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland on 1 May 1840, for use from 6 May of that year. |
