| Home Philately Visits About Us Citation | Proud movement to cherish | |
|
We were elated to see our Project Club Philately in the national Newspaper "The Hindu Young World "dated 24th Mar2009. In a very short time since the project started, we were proud to organize an exhibition of our own collection of philatelic items. All the events before and after the exhibition were taken up by us ourselves under the guidance of our project coach. Apart from the facts that we have learnt from the stamps we have learnt to work on short notice, take up responsibilities and have learnt to organize events. |

Our Team
Members- Juvin Saurabh Adarsh Nimisha Harish |
It was easy for us to work together as we all are from the same class. All of us come from different family and religious background but that was never obvious in the team spirit we had .Each of us have a very distinct quality that helped in many ways.
All our research findings, survey reports, report on visits, pictures, information gathered from various people and technology we learnt, went into making of this site. We divided the work among us and finally we put everything together. We also gathered a lot of information during our out of the school activities. It was fun doing all the activities of the project especially the exhibition. We had to face a lot of difficulties while designing, making and uploading the site. Our session ending exams came in between that was unavoidable. Most of our parents restrict the use of internet at home that made the work a lot more difficult. But we compensated that by coming to school on holidays. The project was the brain child of our project coach. She is a very creative person her creativity with stamps, ideas and the knowledge on technology helped us greatly in the entire project. Our assistant coach helped us by giving her precious stamp collection. She has a rich collection of hundreds of stamps. Twice a winner of Philatelic competition she was a right person to guide us. Thus the vision of making a website on philately came true. |

| Mrs. Jainus (Project Coach) It was very challenging to work with this group of children as none of them were too familiar with working on the computer. They co-operated with me in performing all the activities. They were particularly very good at research work and they showed keen interest in learning what they did not know. As they could not do much from home they had to depend completely on the resources at school. I thank all the people who have helped us directly and indirectly to make our dream come true. | Mrs. Dolly (Assistant Coach) I am a philatelist and I was happy that these children could use my collection to do their project. Children are a bundle of energy ready to grasp anything coming there way. | |
