Prepositions
In German, prepositions take certain cases. The case of the preposition determines the case of the noun following it. The following tables show the German prepositions and their cases.

When using prepositions in the accusative/dative case, the case being used depends on the verb.
Motion verb = accusative case
Non-motion verb = dative case
