About us

   Our team members attend the Upward Bound Program at the    University of Texas at El Paso. We all go to different high    schools from different parts of the city. This made it difficult    to get together on our own time to work on this project, but    thanks to our time management skills and the internet we    were able to successfully complete this web site.

   Kathryn, Team Leader

   I am 16 years old.

   I am currently a junior at    Riverside High School where I    am a band member; as well as    on the Riverside Rangerette    Dance/Drill team. I plan to    attend UTEP to become a    computer engineer.

 

   Chris, Technician

 I am 18 years old.

 I am a Vietnamese American and I like video games;  that is pretty much all I have to say. Oh, yeah, I am  good at drawing. The picture of me is a drawing I did  in Paint with a mouse. I plan to become a computer  programmer, a digital designer, a video artist, an  actor, or a writer, and so on..... Yep, that's it.

 

 

   Jose, Group Member

   I am 17 years old.

   I am currently a junior at Irvin High School. I'm a member of the    National Honor Society (where we do lots of community service    projects), High Q (where we compete against other schools in a    kind of information game show that is recorded and aired on    television), and Theater (where we perform a fall and a spring    play). I was also on the Varsity Tennis team for two years, the    Academic Decathlon team for a year, and I participated in the    AVID (Advanced Via Independent Determination) Program for    three years. I plan to attend Texas Tech University and    eventually practice medicine. Oh, I can't live without my cell    phone!
