ABOUT US

Our team takes the name CASOM711 because of our names.

Here we are:

        We carried out a few simple statistical projects when we learned statistics last year. We found that our projects may be useful to others so we decided to build a website on the topic. Better still, if we enroll for the Oracle ThinkQuest website competition, these pages can be placed in the ThinkQuest library. Thus here we are with Ms Wee Siu Hiang as our coach and Ms Maimun as the assistant coach.

        We need to equip ourselves with tools for website building. To start off, we learned to use DreamWeaver and Adobe Photoshop. We attended a course on simple HTML. Armed with these skills and the knowledge we gained through our class projects, we embarked on the actual making of website from the month of November 2008.

        On and off we worked on the project. The most time consuming tasks to us are doing the interviews. This is because people other than the education fraternity are involved. We have to change dates and appointments due to the busy schedule of the interviewees.

        Finally the website is complete. It is time for the site to be uploaded. We feel a bit odd. We are going to miss the discussions and arguments. Well, may be we would participate in the competition next year.
