Introduction

Our topic for this project is “Youtube—Is video sharing good or bad?” In this project, we are going to discuss if Youtube is really a good website. Our website includes an:

•    Entry page 

The entry page is the home page of the website. It is convenient for users to view different parts of our website.

•   Background page

The Background page includes the secondary information we consulted before we started to do our website.

•    Research and findings page

In this page, we will show the results of the survey we did and other first hand information. From this page, you can also look at news reports related to Youtube, and look at Youtube from the public’s perspective.

•    Discussion page 

This page is mainly about our analysis towards the results of the survey. We will also compare our analysis with other similar researches done by professionals.

•    Bibliography and Acknowledgement pa

This page shows the links or the source of our secondary information and the proof of permission to us for using their information on our web page.

•    Group Reflection page

The group reflection is about how we feel and what we gain in this project. We also do self-evaluation in the page to reflect to ourselves what can we improve.

This topic is on a global importance basis. We chose the topic because many people visit Youtube and we don’t know if it is really good for us.Also, this topic is quite interesting as we can know more about this popular website through this project. We can look at Youtube from different perspectives, such as peers and public. This can train our critical thinking and looking at a matter objectively.

Our intended audience is “Youtube-lovers”, especially the ones who are almost addicted to it. We hope that after they look at our website, they can relocate the place of Youtube in their hearts from our analysis. We hope they can know about what are the disadvantages of Youtube and stop being addicted to it.
