Overall, we think that Youtube has both of its
pros and cons. According to our survey,98% of the responders agreed that
Youtube is very useful. 47.1% of the responders think that using Youtube is
convenient for them to search for information and they can share their own
videos with their family and friends. We agreed that Youtube is a platform for
people all over the world interact with one another. This has made our world
more united. Also, “Kellyjackie”, a famous online singer, uploaded one of her
songs He invites me to Disneyland
and had her dreams come true. Therefore, Youtube is also a “dream-maker”.
However,
we all agree that Youtube is very dangerous in some ways. Although Youtube
claimed to delete some of inappropriate videos from their website, we still
find some videos about violence, robbery etc. Also, 45.1% of our survey
responders claimed they use Youtube everyday. This may affect both their
studies and their health as they use all their time on Youtube and stare at the
computer screen too long may cause one to be short-sighted. However, we all
agree that we should have self-control over ourselves and stop ourselves from
watching inappropriate videos and use Youtube too long.
