Computer Games - from entertainment to addiction

We have conducted a survey with 45 teenagers, from 12-15 years old.  There are 4 questions in total and they are:

1. Do you play computer games?
2. How long do you usually play computer games for?
3. What kinds of games do you play?
4. Are you addicted to computer games or are they just an entertainment?

Answers

1. The first question shows that:

Among all the respondents, 30 of them play computer games while 15 of them don’t. 

The chart is shown below:

 A major number of teenagers have a habit of playing computer games. 

 
2. The second question shows that:

Among all the 30 respondents who play computer games, 15 of them play the games for less than 1 hour a day, 8 of them play the games for 1-2 hours a day, 4 of them play the games for 3-4 hours a day while 2 of them play more than 5 hours a day.

The chart is shown below:

 A lot of respondents don’t play games for more than 2 hours but a few of them play more than 3 hours which is an inappropriate habit for them.
 

 
3. The third question shows that:

Among all the 30 respondents who play computer games, 6 of them like to play action games, 4 of them like to play games with pets, 17 of them like to play games just for fun and 3 of them play other kinds of games.

  A lot of respondents play computer games that are just for fun, which shows that they don’t take the computer games very seriously.

  
4. The fourth question shows that:

Among the 30 respondents who play computer games, 3 of them are addicted to the games while 27 of them think that playing computer games is just an entertainment.

Although most of the respondents think that playing computer games is just an entertainment, 10% of the respondents are addicted to the computer games.  This is a serious problem which we must solve.
