WHAT WE LEARNT

ONE LOOK ON OUR LEARNINGS :

1.CRITICAL THINKING:

When we visited the Mahul village and once saw how the koli lifestyle we ourself started imagining ourself as kolis. We tried to think that what are the threats to our livelihood as well as how can we confront them. This helped us developing our imagination power. So, ultimately during this project we developed our skills.

2.CROSS CULTURAL UNDERSTANDING:

As we belonged to various states our culture varied a lot from one-another.Thus when we together were engulfed into this project we learnt a lot about one-others culture. We came across various deep cultural belifs finally we found that all the culture though are named differently teaches us the very same thing. As said by Raja Ram Mohan Roy that, "cows are of different color but the color of their milk is the same".
We also gleefully exchanged our cuisine.

3.TEAM-WORK

We only as a team were able to complete this project, in this the participation of each and every member mattered a lot and it would not have been possible without a team effort. We also learnt that there are major internal disputes that are needed to be overcome if a team actually wants to succeed. We would like to say that in India there is a saying "when there are more than one utensils in a home they often collide" But this needs a little deflection that behind these disputes lies the eternal love.

4.TECHNOLOGY

When we first visited some of the winner sites we found their technology was far superior than that of ours. This gave us an inspiration to learn more softwares that we were not familiar with.
In order to complete this project and meet its requirement we learnt many new software.

5.COMMUNICATION

We were of different states and spoke different languages so the only mean to communicate was english language. This some what helped us in developing our english speaking and vocabulary skills.

6.SELF-DIRECTION

This project motivated us to do social work. We understood that giving funds to many organisation is not the only form of social work.
We were motivated to participate in activities that serve the interest of others.

7. CREATIVITY

This project made our minds creative . We learnt new types of skills and arts. We made the project with our own creativity and enjoyed the process very much. We made it with our own ideas.
