If you want to listen to music, play games, view videos or anything with a sound in it then you would need either speakers or a headset for your computer. If you want to make internet phone calls or play online games where you can talk to other gamers then a headset is an ideal accessory to own as it includes a microphone as well as earphones!
Speakers range in prices, you can get good enough ones for basic use for a very small price, or you could spend lots of money if you want high quality sound (maybe for playing games and watching HD movies). The choice is yours when it comes to speakers, you can't really pick the wrong ones!
