Graphics & Sound Cards...
Graphics cards are important for being able to view your PC on a monitor, TV or projector. There are some really expensive graphics cards for people who like to play PC games and view HD movies on their PC. If your someone who doesn't really play PC games or view HD movies on their PC then a cheap £20 graphics card would be fine for you. There are two main graphic card manufacturers, these are: ATi and Nvdia. If you just want a cheap graphics card then either one of these manufactures will be ok but if you want to view HD videos and play games then we recommend a ATi graphics card.
Sound cards are needed if you want to listen to music via speakers or headphones or if you want to plug in a microphone. In most cases motherboards have built in sound cards. Sound cards range in price, you could easily spend masses amounts of money on a sound card when you could be spending only £20 on a good enough sound card which supports 7.1 surround systems.
