Video games can cause damage to the brain in many different ways. Many mature rated games can after long term exposure can cause kids to start to think violently and in some cases start to act violently.

This is one of the most severe damages that could occur is the fight or flight response.

The fight or flight response is a series of actions the body takes to increase body functions when in a dangerous situation. During the "FOFR" or (Fight or Flight Response)
sequences of nerve cell firing occur and chemicals like adrenaline, noradrenalin and cortical are released into our bloodstream. Your brains awareness increases and your pupils dilate. Also blood is directed away from the digestive system and moved to the muscles and our perception of pain diminishes. These are all actions that our that are at the moment aren't needed. These chemicals are being wasted when the FOFR is activated when they could have been stored for later use.

Tip: We recommend that you not play video games for more than one hour straight.
