Emily, Leigh, Valentina, and Jon are all 8th graders at the Community School of Naples. With her Italian ethnic background, Emily enjoys various activites such as MathCounts and karate. Leigh has a strong Lithuanian background and is an accomplished violinist who enjoys playing volleyball and soccer. Cheerleading is the main focus of Valentina, a true "Greek girl." Jon loves lacrosse and has a little brother and an older sister. Diverse religions make up this group, including Christians, Catholics, and Jews. All of these students have been brought together in a ThinkQuest class; they all put aside their differences to create a website. They decided to write about Theme Parks because of their similar searches for the sheer thrill of roller coasters, their concerns about the sanitations of these parks, and the goodwill of theme parks. They have enjoyed their Theme Park ThinkQuest project and would like to thank Mrs. Podber for being such an encouraging teacher.
