Search engine is a programme that the searches documents for specified keywords and return a list of the information on the World Wide Web. Information may consist of web pages, image or other type of file.
There are many search engines in the internet. Such as Yahoos, Google, AltaVista etc.

When users arrive at this search engine, then they type the keywords on the bar, finally a list of web pages will be displayed. Users can choose one of the web pages to get information.

For example, a user wants to find information about Thomas Alva Edison, then first he should enter “Thomas Alva Edison”, then press web search, next he will see a list of web pages which are about Thomas Alva Edison. He can click one of the web pages to get information.

*Users should type the keywords before they press the button.
*Search engine will list all the results, which are related to the keywords.
