Advantages
There are four advantages of using search engines.
Firstly, most of the search engines have vast databases, which contained a large variety of keywords. The spider will visit many web sites, then it reads, and memorizes, and marks follow links to other pages within the site. Therefore they have already own a list of web pages and the search engines will save the list of web pages in their databases. It is therefore why the search engines can display many results when users type particular keywords.
Secondly, search engines are very easy to use. Users do not need to learn any computer languages, they only need to type in the keywords and then click the <search> or <enter> button of the web pages to check the results and get the information they need. It seems that most of the users can easily to use it.
Third, most of the search engines can search a wide range of web pages. They do not only search the web pages in their own countries, but also web pages in other countries too, therefore users can get global information through using search engine.
Forth, search engine is like a library. Sophisticated searching often available. Users can find news, items, and histories in the past or the latest news from the search engine. Search engines contain different types of information. It is convenience for all Internet users
