The Transportation in the Area
The World Trade Center is currently being rebuilt. As part of the new terminal there is going to be a new transit center. There will be the the 2,3,4, 5, A, C, E, J, M, Z, R and W trains. The $880 million dollar project will improve accsess to all 12 trains. The center will also allow passengers to transfer with the PATH train. For the A and C train there is already a station open and all that needs to be They old terminal included the 1, 9 (now a retired line), R and the W lines. The transit center will also connect people to the New world trade center. The train lines will have different parts. The A and C trains at Broadway Nassau 8 av express / local, The 2 and 3 trains will be at Fulton Street west end side branch, the 4 and 5 at Fulton Street east side branch,The R and W at Cortlandt Street, Broadway line and the E train at the Chambers street, Eighth Avenue line. All these trains will be in different sections.
