Polymorphic Smart Materials

Polymorphic Smart Materials are microscopic robots that work together intelligently to form complex structures (below). By linking arms, these robots could form any inanimate object as well as perform near supernatural feats: Utility fog can give objects apparent levitation and it can manipulate an object while invisible to the human eye by squeezing, hitting or pulling on the object. Utility fog also has a future in medicine as it could easily enter the human blood stream and efficiently carry out a task.

The Center for Responsible Nanotechnology (CRN) provides the public the advantages and disadvantages of nanotechnology, investigates all the implications that nanotechnology may have on the world as well as create a thorough plan for the proper worldwide use of nanotechnology. “To predict, but to prepare” is the motto for the CRN in order to ensure the safe immersion of nanotechnological developments into our society.
