| Digital art was started by artists who wanted to create a new type of canvas, their computer. The boundaries of traditional artwork has changed forever. More and more pieces are being created on the computer because of the relative easy access to materials. Cost is minimal, resources are in abundance, and it doesn't take too much time, or effort to create something interesting. The amazing creativity that has been produced from this art form is stunning. There are many things that just cannot be created as easily with a brush and canvas such as the top image to the left. This was created in a program called Cinema 4D. C4D is used to create abstract artwork mainly as a resouce for other art. If you wanted to add some sort of abstract visual in your document, you can easily create a C4D render, and import it into your document to edit however you wish. This comes in handy more than some may realize. |
