Q:.What is a regular day like at home?
A: I get up cook and watch the kids play or see them off to school. Then, work or school. In the evening, we  go to bed or watch TV together. Things aren't as hard as they seem.

Q. Describe how you felt when you fond out that your kid has a disability.
A:I felt lost, hurt, worried confused, scared, and disbelief. It was the worst day of my life.

Q. Can your think of anything you have had to change because of Morgan’s disability?
A: I have to make sure that there are ramps at doors and near the car to help Morgan get in and out of the house and the car. There are also a lot more doctor appointments to attend.

Q. How do you want people to look at your child?
A: I want people to look at Morgan like a normal 10 year old girl that is intelligent and know that the only difference is Morgan doesn't have as much muscle power to walk with.

Q: Do you have any advice for other mothers and fathers with disabled children?
A: Take days 1 day at a time. Enjoy what you have and know that nothing is as hard as it seems. Also don't let your emotions take over your life.

Q: Do you have anything you want to add?
A: There is nothing wrong with disabled children and people should treat them just as they want to be treated.
