MUSCULAR

People have more than 600 muscles in their bodies. They help us do almost everything, from pumping blood throughout your body to lifting your heavy binder. People control some of their  muscles, like  arm muscles, and others, like the heart, do their jobs without you thinking about them at all.

Muscles are all made of a type of elastic tissue. Thousands of small fibers make up each muscle.

There are  three different types of muscles in human body: smooth muscle, cardiac muscle, and skeletal muscle. The muscles we use to pick up something are  skeletal muscles. Skeletal muscles are voluntary muscles, which means you can control what they do. Your arm won't bend to pick up something unless you want it to. These muscles help to make up the musculoskeletal system ,the combination of your muscles and skeleton, or bones. The skeletal muscles work together with the bones to give our  bodies  power and strength.
