TAKE ACTION
People with physical disabilities live in every corner of the world. Some of them may live in our neighborhood, work in work places with our parents or go to our schools. Sometimes people with physical disabilities are treated unfairly. Others may think that they are less able because the have physical disability. Or they may pick and make fun of them. Often people do not really understand the causes of disability or the effect they have. So, their opinions are result of lack of knowledge or even fear. But, people with physical disabilities are just like us. They have goals, hopes and dreams. They enjoy activities we enjoy. They listen to the same music and watch the same movies. They want to choose careers like ours as well. They want to be teachers, doctors and parents. Therefore, it is important that we take action to educate about physically disabilities, raise funds for research and to help with medical costs and to support our peers with physically disabilities. We can all do a part in taking this action.
