First War of Gaza

On December 15, 2006 the first war of Gaza began in the West Bank of Gaza. When the first war started Palestine security guards bombed one of the Hamas rally in Ramallah. From this attack, 20 people were seriously hurt. Two religious groups, known as the Hamas and Fatahs. The Hamas was created in 1987 by Sheikh Ahmed Yassin. The Hamas were known for their suicide bombing attacks and other attacks. The other group was the Fatahs, which were a major Palestine political party. Unlike the Hamas, the Fatahs are not recognized as a terrorist group by the Palestine or United States government instead they were known as a righteous group. With these two powerful organizations fighting against each other there, one knew destruction was coming. Shortly after the first bombing, the Hamas began to blame the Fatahs for attempting to assassinate Ismail Haniya, the Palestine prime minister. As the fighting continued, many more innocent citizens began dying.
