There were three students as well as two coaches who contributed their time and effort to create this site. Please feel free to learn about each one of them and the contribution they put forth in creating this web site.
Hello, my name is Jason. I am 16 years old and I’m going to be a junior. The Rosebud Indian Reservation is my home and I attend Todd County High School. This is my second year with the MSIP summer component and it is both fun and educational. My job in creating this website was to obtain information for recycling, whether it was browsing and researching on the web or participating in hands on activities and workshops.
Hi! My name is Sierra. I am an Oglala Lakota from the Pine Ridge Indian
Reservation. I am 16 years old and a rising senior at Red Cloud Indian
High School. This is my third year here at MSIP and I love taking advantage
of every opportunity. The reason I attend this summer component is because
it provides me opportunities that I thought I never had, a life enriching
experience with meeting new people as well as getting an education to prepare
me for the following school year and last but not least, I want to get
a taste of what college may be like. Being at MSIP is my first step to
having a successful future.
My name is Mike. I am 18 years old, Male, and reside on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. I chose this recycling project because I wanted a deeper in-sight into the world of recycling. I wanted to know how I can do my part to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases. Some of my hobbies are playing basketball, lifting, swimming, and running. I like to stay fit and all that good stuff. I also enjoy music. Music is pretty much my life; I can’t live with out it. My main job was focusing on the research and providing it to a teammate for creating our web design. Other than all this, I have nothing else to say except I hope you enjoy our web site!
