Music and Math Relations

This project was about how Math and Music relates. In this project we went over the history of music and instruments, what sound waves are and how they are formed, what simple harmonic motion is, and we went over resonance. We also went over how are musical scales were formed and what has changed about music over thousands of years. We had guest speakers talk to us about the history and about other countries types of music. We went to the National Music Museume and got to see how different intruments have changed over time with different discoveries, like how to play a different note without having to add something extra to the instrument or having to take something off.
