Globalisation has been taking its course since the late 20th century, industrialisation and technological advances around the world have brought together the world we know now; a civilized and technology advanced world.
Globalisation is like a deadly epidemic, extending its reach to many aspects in society. For example, in modern day society, many economical and social cultural changes are due to Globalisation. Some of the impacts might be beneficial, but some are however harmful, like the impact to the environment and the waste of useful resources.
The new age of technology has definitely brought about many changes in modern day culture and practices, and this “Technology Age” has impacted many of the people’s lives.
Globalisation has its share of positive and negative causes and effects. They can be split up into the economic and the sociocultural aspects, which we are working on. Also, because of that, there have been mixed views and opinions on globalisation, which will fall into either globalism, where globalisation is supported, or mundialism, where it is not.
