Our Methodology

Interviews:

We carried out interviews with Mrs Elaine Yang, the Interact Club teacher-advisor of 3 years, as well as Wayne Chan, the Director of Club Affairs in the Club. Lastly, we interviewed another student in a school who has been involved in Community Service projects that the school has planned and let students take part in. Through these few interviews, we want to get some views on how community service involves youth in our school, and show that community service does benefit the participants.

Literature Review:

Based on our experiences, we have come up with information on community service, its benefits, the scenes locally and globally, as well as how to carry out your very own community service project.

Social Survey:

We carried out a social survey of 50 students of the general population in our school. This is to help us understand further the community service scene, as well as show that there are effects on the participants who take part in community service, and through our survey bring awareness.
