Krill and Plankton

Size
Males- 80 feet and 120 tons
Females- 94 feet and 174 tons

Why Are They Endangered?
They are attacked and killed by Orcas a lot which is only one factor of their being endangered.
The other factor is being hunted and since they are still hunted more than often they haven’t had time to make a comeback.
It’s really sad if you think about it.

Population
10,000 to 14,000 and it’s decreasing very fast.

Interesting Facts
The Blue whale is the largest animal out of the land and sea. It is also the loudest animal.
Its ‘voice’ can be heard hundreds of miles away at an amazing 188 decibels! They are also very fast.
They can swim at speeds up to 20 miles per hour.
It may not seem that fast, but for an animal that size its amazingly fast.
