The Transfermium elements are (in order of atomic number): Mendelevium, Nobelium, Lawrencium, Rutherfordium, Dubnium, Seaborgium, Bohrium, Hassium, Meitnerium, Ununnilium, Unununium, and Ununbium.

    Transfermium elements are so radioactive that they can only be produced in labs with particle accelerators. Particle accelerators shoot atoms, protons, and electrons at 300,000,000 meters per second. The half life of Mendelevium is 5.52 hours which makes it very difficult to study.
