Turn Off Lights Stickers
« Back to What We DidIn an effort to reduce the consumption of electricity at CRGS, we tackled a major user: Lighting. By creating our own, professional, colourful and polite "Turn Off Lights" stickers, and sticking them next to light switches, we increased awareness of unnecessary light use.

It's cheap to do, too! We paid about £20 for a high-street retailer to matt print our design onto sticky-backed paper, and then to cut them up. It took two people about two days to stick them everywhere.

Why not do this in your school? - its simple, cheap, effective and easily student lead. In addition, speak to your Site Managers to ensure they aren't turning on lights early in the morning before people have arrived, when they aren't needed!
