« Back to What We DidWe obtained posters from the Carbon Trust to help save energy around the school. An example poster is in the image below, which draws attention to turning off printers and lights, closing windows and shutting down computers. We selected the busiest departments and those with the most computers, and put these up.
We asked our coaches to bring our activities to the attention of staff in the weekly Staff Meeting, particularly in encouraging the turning off of computers at the switches in the ICT offices.
We have also made an EcoLearning Noticeboard, detailing our efforts:
It's been a great way to tell students of our efforts and get them behind us! Plus, we will soon be using it to recruit new team members...
