Fair trade products e.g. chocolate, tea, etc. are available in almost all supermarkets. Fair Trade is an organisation that makes sure farmers get a fair price for their crops. There are a number of different ways to interpret what is fair. An example could be people who grow the coffee you drink in the morning. They should not be condemned to live in poverty for their efforts. Fair Trade is not limited solely to drinks. It can and is used for food, clothing and crafts. Commitment to Fair Trade will impact our own and other peoples' communities.
