Natalie

My name is Natalie. My hobbies are reading manga/books; watching anime and other TV. shows; going to the movies; drawing; and sleeping. My favorite things to eat are fruit, ice cream, pocky, and meat. I also like vegetables, for reasons unknown to me.This is the first time that I’ve gone to MSIP. I chose the entomology project, because I really wanted to learn more about insects.

Aaron

I have been attending MSIP for the second year and enjoy it for educational purposes. This year, my project group is Entomology. We study and determine what kind of insects we’ve seen and caught. This project is great and we take trips to go collect different insects in different parts of the town and state. We have pinned insects that we have caught, which was very fun and we had to figure out what family group they came from and what the name of the insect was. Taking part in making of this website was great and I helped out in some ways possible and hope that if this is here again, many can enjoy it as much as I did!

Ida

This is my first year here at MSIP. I’m from the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, and I attend school at Red Cloud Indian High School in Pine Ridge. I chose to be in the Entomology project because I wanted to learn more about what kinds of insects are poisonous, and which can be eaten.


		Cody My name is Cody. Some of my hobbies are playing guitar, drawing, and photography, hunting, and fishing. I've been in MSIP for two years, and I will be a Senior in school. I chose to be in the Entomology group because I wanted to learn more about insects, and I wanted to do outside research. After high school I want to go to either SD School of Mines and Technology, or Dakota State University, to work with video games.
		Randy My name is Randy and I am in the Math and Science Initiative Program. I wanted to be in entomology because it had to deal with being outdoors and I wanted to learn more about the insects that are around me. My hobbies are hunting, fishing, camping, and playing pool. I have learned a lot in entomology and the MSIP program. This is my first year in MSIP. I am hoping to come back next year.
		Ryan My name is Ryan; this is my second year here at MSIP. When I’m not here I like to hunt, fish, trap, and play video games. During the fall if I’m not in school I’m usually out hanging with my friends, doing something outside or showing them who the master of gaming is. This year I will be applying for colleges and scholarships and taking the ACT. I hope to go to USD and be a biology or history major and then later go to medical school.

		Theodora My name is Theodora and I am going to be a junior at Todd County High School. I have been in Math and Science Initiative Program (MSIP) for two years now. I came to MSIP to have more of back ground information of math and science for my future career in science.
