Niama was a low achiever in mathematics and this crippled her career prospects. Having been born into a middle class background, and without a higher education, she was unable to obtain a job with a comfortable income. Her personal relationship also suffered as a result, due to the fact that her partner preferred women who have achieved more with their lives. He left her for a doctor. To improve her life and her career, Niama enrolled in a private institution for medicine.
Niama's life story teaches us a valuable lesson on how a solid education, in science and maths especially, could affect our lives in the future, not only career-wise, but also in mate selection.
