Hi I'm Elena.  I'm I the Sixth grade and I'm 12 years old.  I used to live in the USA but moved last year. I go to Bridgeport Public School and now live in Ontario, Canada. School starts at 9:10 and I take the bus. My favourite subjects are Math and Science because there are fun subjects and are really interesting things to learn about.

Outside of school I enjoy doing other activities like riding bikes, swimming, or taking my dog for walks. I also take theatre. When I'm not doing those activities I'm usually reading. My favourite book is Kira-Kira.

As my parents are Indian and Greek we try many different kinds of food.  My Grandmother is vegetarian so I also know a little about that diet also.  One of my favourite foods is tuna casserole. I enjoy trying new foods and think I eat a healthy diet. I also enjoy trying to cook and bake things too. I like candy but I don't eat it every single day. My favourite type would probably be chocolate. Hope you've learned what I'm like and what I enjoy.

As a team we kept emailed each other and talked many times on the forum.  I also visited my USA teammates in December.

I think the topic we've talked about is really a big issue in our world. A lot of people are obese and I think people need to be informed of this it really is something they can change. Just by changing a bit to have a healthier lifestyle. I definitely have learned a lot during these past months and I am going to try to tell my friends and family to keep themselves healthy. I hope you have learned a few things about obesity.
