Saturated Fats
This fat is bad for you as it raises bad (LDL) cholesterol and this could damage your blood vessels. This fat is found in animal products like butter, cream and red meat and tropical oils like palm and coconut. The saturated fats in your diet should not be more than 10% of your calories.

Polyunsaturated Fats
At last, a good fat. This fat helps lower your cholesterol. It found in vegetables like corn, fatty fish and nuts. There is no recommended amount to eat but studies show it is good for your brain and may help in mild depression.

Monounsaturated Fats
Another great fat as it helps lower your blood cholesterol level. It’s found in olives, avocados and peanuts. Try and make it your main fat favorite. About 2/3 of all the fat you eat. Studies show that it may stop you getting heart disease and diabetes

Butter and cheese are foods
that you shouldn't eat too
much of, as they contain
saturated fats.
